From the age of 12, I was captivated by the world of poker, thanks to my father, who introduced me to the game with play money. By the time I was 17, I transitioned to playing for real money, turning a small investment into substantial winnings. Throughout college, I balanced my studies with my growing passion for poker, eventually deciding to pursue it professionally after graduation. The discipline and strategic thinking I developed during my years as a basketball player have been instrumental in my success at the poker table.

Basketball was my first love, and I played it year-round from the age of five until a knee injury at 17 ended my dreams of playing in college. This setback turned into an opportunity as I shifted my competitive spirit to poker. The skills and mindset I cultivated on the court seamlessly translated to the felt, where I found a new arena to channel my drive and determination. My journey hasn’t been without its challenges, but each obstacle has strengthened my resolve to succeed.

Outside of poker, I am a devoted husband to my wife, Alex, and a proud father of three boys: Benny, Josiah, and Luke. Family is my greatest joy and source of motivation. In 2019, I achieved a long-time dream by becoming a team pro for ACR, a milestone that solidified my place in the poker community. Today, I share my experiences and strategies with a broader audience through my Twitch channel, LoncarPoker, where I stream ACR tournaments and engage with fellow poker enthusiasts.
